Timboon v Camperdown.
Bob Case Premix Concrete Cup.

This event was held at Timboon Golf Club.
The course was in good condition. The greens were fairly good also, considering the recent renovations.
15 players from Camperdown were on time at 10.30am for an 11.00am “Shotgun Start” as requested. Not to be however – we were sent out in allocated tee times, all from the first tee. (Total of 44 players). Some of the group had a fairly long wait. A bit dis-concerting, but the weather was pleasant and this made the wait a little less painful.

A summary of the results are as follows.
Individual Results:
1st. Cody Noonan (13) representing Timboon – 41 points.
2nd. Luke Clarke (6) representing Camperdown – 38 points.
3rd. Stephen Douglas (13) representing Camperdown – 37 points.
4th. Wes Hollick (4) representing Timboon – 37 points.
(A number of other minor prizes were also awarded, for 5th and 6th place).

All of the NTP’s were awarded to Timboon players – a bit of local knowledge helps!

The “Premix Concrete” Cup was won by Timboon Golf Club.
Timboon – 29 players, total 883; Average score of 30.448 points.
Camperdown – 15 players, total 437; Average score 29.133 points.

At the conclusion of play, participants were given a “good feed” of Chicken and chips (with gravy etc.). Very nice, and thanks to the ladies.

All in all a good day. Thanks to the Timboon Club for hosting the event.

Next Saturday at Camperdown, the competition will be Par.
And don’t forget to organise your teams for Sunday, 9th November – the Spring 4 person Ambrose.
