Corangamite Veterans Golf – Christmas Event Wrap-Up.

A fantastic day was enjoyed on Tuesday, 9th December at the Camperdown Golf Course as the Corangamite Veterans Golf Association held its final event for 2025. We welcomed an excellent field of 95 players for our annual Christmas competition.
President Graham Clifford welcomed all players, and before play began a minute’s silence was held for past members, Vale Lace DuVall and Vale Ian Judd.

Presentations
During presentations, President Graham welcomed our Life Members Bazil Hammond, Geoff Webber, and Eric Hansford, as well as visiting guests from the Glenelg District and Ballarat District Veterans Associations.
He thanked all players for attending and praised the Camperdown members for the outstanding condition of the course—comments echoed by many throughout the day. Appreciation was also extended to the Camperdown Ladies for providing a terrific lunch enjoyed by everyone.
Vice President John Miller then took the stage to present Life Membership to Grahame Clifford. John acknowledged Graham’s many years of involvement with the Vets and his decade-long tenure as President. During this time, Graham has overseen the growth of the association into a thriving and welcoming club for golfers aged 55 and over seeking enjoyable and social competition across our region.
