May 2nd, 2026.
Stroke; Monthly Medal.
Today’s event was stroke play. It was the "Hampden Hotel", May Monthly Medal event.
Many thanks to Simon Myers at the Hampden, for his continued support of our club.
The weather was fine and mild, with a very stiff wind from the north-west. Showers were forecast for late in the day.
The course remains in good condition, albeit drying out again. The forecast rain for the coming week will be welcome, if it eventuates! The greens continue to improve after the renovation.
A field of 24 players competed in this week’s event. One grade was declared.
