Corangamite Veterans Golf at Lake Bolac.
A great day of golf was enjoyed at Lake Bolac Golf Club on Monday, 25 May, when Corangamite Veterans Golfers contested a Stableford event. The golf course was presented in excellent condition and is a credit to the team at Lake Bolac Golf Club. With the weather also in our favour, all players enjoyed the day. It was pleasing to see the strong results from the Cobden golfers, who obviously appreciated the change to a Monday competition rather than the usual Tuesday fixture.

A Grade Results.
Winner: Colin Dobson (Cobden) – 43 points.
Runner-Up: Bruce McSween (Cobden) – 38 points.
3rd Place: Steve Grinter (Terang) – 34 points (C/B).
NAGA: Don Hanson (Colac) – 19 points.

B Grade Results.
Winner: Bernie Bourke (Cobden) – 36 points.
Runner-Up: Bruce Knee (East Framlingham) – 34 points.
3rd Place: Brian Smith (Cobden) – 33 points (C/B) .
NAGA: John Miller (Colac) – 18 points.

Scorecards.
Following each event where MiScore is not used, all scorecards must be manually entered into the Golf Australia Handicap System to ensure handicaps are correctly recorded and updated. Previously, only the final score was required; however, Golf Australia now requires the full scorecard to be entered on a hole-by-hole basis as recorded on the card. To assist our Handicapper with this process, we ask all players to ensure their scorecards are clearly legible, scores are recorded accurately, and cards are checked and signed by both the player and marker before submission. Your assistance in this regard is greatly appreciated.
