A very good field of 68 players assembled for this annual event. Three new Vet’s Members were welcomed (two ladies). The day was mostly fine, with a couple of very brief misty moments. It was rather cool however.
The Timboon course was well presented. Good work by their ground staff.
After the obligatory welcomes etc., the field hit off a little earlier than the scheduled 10.00am time. Well organised.
Scores were generally rather good, with the first three places being decided by a countback (from six pairs having the same score). A score of 46 points was required for a Ball DTL.
Catering was very good on the day, with the availability of a sausage sizzle as players passed the clubhouse, and a nice salad roll after the game.

RESULTS.
Winners – Keith Stephens/Richard Narik (Camperdown), 48 points. (C/B).
Runner-Up – Steve Plozza/John Bertram (Timboon) , 48 points. (C/B).
Third – Cliff Cobbledick/Trevor Gardner (Cobden), 48 points. (C/B).

7th – Ivan Hucker (Lake Bolac). (Also, Golden Hole).
10th – Judy Delaney (Timboon).
14th – Bob Bates (Colac).
