December 2nd, 2023. Stroke.
Today’s event was stroke play. It was the “Gary Fryers Painting” December Monthly Medal event.
Many thanks to Gary and Louise for their ongoing support of our club.
A field of 23 men competed in this weeks event.
The event was combined with Round 4 (final) of the Men’s Championships, and the (final) Round 3 of the Ladies Championships. (The overall player numbers were in the mid 30’s).
Three grades were declared.
The weather was fine and mild, with only a bit of wind to make things interesting.
The course is lovely and green; the greens continue to look great, and play well. Congratulations to Dave and crew for their great work.

Thanks also to Bubble and Mel, and others, for running the BBQ and celebrations in the “pavilion” after the game. Great effort.
Next Saturday (9th December) is the Annual Righties v Lefties event. Hoping for a good roll-up, and a fun day.
