Annual Christmas Event.
Stableford Format.

A great day for golf today. The weather was warm as forecast. The wind was keen, and from the north-east.
The course was looking great, thanks to Dave and his crew of helpers. The reports from many of the visitors were very positive. (Others were too weary to speak!)
A great field of 108 Vets turned up to play. It was a big task undertaken by Algie and assistants to register everyone, and have the field on the course by 10.00am. With a field this size things can be a bit slow on the course at times, but generally speaking, the field moved quite well.
At the conclusion of play, all players enjoyed a great, sit down, Christmas lunch. The meal was prepared and served by the wonderful, hard working, ladies of the Camperdown Golf Club. Great job ladies!

During the compilation of results, the CVGA held a raffle. Lots of prizes, generously donated by sponsors, were on offer. It was well supported by the Vet’s.

This was another very well organised and successful Christmas Event held by the Camperdown Golf Club. It is a very popular event, and always well supported by the Vet’s of Corangamite.
