Stableford.

On a fine and mild afternoon, a good field of 36 players entered for this week’s Stableford competition. This included a couple of very welcome visitors. The weather was fine and mild, but a fairly persistent wind blew from the south west.
The course is holding up fairly well, with the 50 mils of rain thru the week helping to green up the fairways a little. The volunteer greens staff were on light duties this week, so mowing was minimised. Hopefully, all will be spruced up for next week’s Monthly Medal.
Two grades were declared.

RESULTS. A Grade (+2 to -14).
Winner – Tom Moran (3), 37 points.
Runner-Up – Colin Elsum (Vis) (6), 37 points.

B Grade (15 to 38).
Winner – Charlie Lucas (18), 42 points.
Runner-Up – Jenny Hillman (20), 39 points. (C/B).
