March 2nd, 2024.
“TESBURY AG” Monthly Medal.
Many thanks to TESBURY AG for their continued support of our Club.

Today’s event was stroke play. It was the March Monthly Medal, with all the usual awards and accolades.

The weather was fine and mild, with minimal wind.
The course remains in good condition, albeit dry and hard below the green tinge. We could do with some good rain, but I guess that is beyond our control! The greens continue to look and play well. Preferred Lies helps overcome any anomalies thrown at us with summer course conditions.

A good field of 27 players competed in this week’s event. Two grades were declared.

RESULTS. A Grade: Winner – Alex Gubbins, 82– 10- 72.
A Grade: Runner-Up – Gary Thomson, 78– 5– 73.

On that note, the Children’s Hospital Fine Fund is edging toward $2000.00. Thanks to everyone for their generosity and good humor!

Another “big” day of prizes and awards. Thanks to everyone who participated. A good size group of socializers enjoyed the 19th. This is a very important part of the day, and was enjoyed by everyone.

Next Saturday’s event is a 4BBB (Pairs) . Grab a partner and enjoy the fun!
