Club Championships – Round 1.

A fine and warm afternoon greeted the good field of 42 players who entered for this week’s Stroke competition. The strong breeze from the north added to the challenges of the day.
The course is holding up well considering how dry it has been; the greens are in great shape.
Three grades were declared.

RESULTS. A Grade.
Winner – Darren Fox, 73 – 4 – 69.
Runner-Up – Luke Clarke, 77 – 5 – 72. (C/B).

B Grade.
Winner – Dale Evans, 84 – 13 – 71.
Runner-Up – Peter Gubbins, 85 – 13 – 72. (C/B).

C Grade.
Winner – Kerrie Absolom, 35 Stableford points. (C/B)
Runner-Up – Albie Cheeseman, 35 Stableford points.
