Monthly Medal.
Today’s event was stroke play. It was the “healthSAVE Pharmacy”, October Monthly Medal event.
Many thanks to Sarah & Sarah, for their continued support of our club. It is greatly appreciated.
The weather forecast was for showers – accurate as it turned out, but none too dramatic. It was rather cool, with a westerly wind.
The course looks good. The greens were a bit difficult, having just been renovated over the past week. The benefit from this work will hopefully be evident in the upcoming weeks.
Dave and the other volunteer staff have been busy with the greens work, mowing, tidying up after the windy conditions, machine maintenance – and the list goes on. A great effort by all.
A good field of 36 players competed in this week’s event. (This included a few welcome visitors).
Two grades were declared.

Another “big” day of prizes and awards. Thanks to everyone who participated. Thanks also to the good size group of socializers who enjoyed the 19th. The Children’s Hospital Appeal certainly benefited from the “donations” from the misdemeanours of the day! Well done folks.
