Greenkeeper’s Revenge!
A fine and sunny afternoon greeted the 25 players who entered for this week’s “novelty” event. The course was presented very well. Dave and “staff” are doing a great job.
The idea of the day was that the Greenkeeper (Dave), presented some unusual, and sometimes contentious obstacles for the players to contend with. These included challenging pin placements, obstacles, including hoses, laying across the greens, varied tee positions, etc. All meant to be a fun challenge. I believe it was approached as such by the players.
The course is holding up well, however it is dry and quite hard. Plenty of run for straight hitters, but it can be a problem if you stray from the fairways.
